Carcinoma in situ of gallbladder, biliary tract or ampulla of Vater

**Definition:** An early form of cancer of gallbladder, biliary tract or ampulla of Vater without invasion of tumour cells into the surrounding tissue, usually before penetration through the basement membrane.
