Generalised eruptive melanocytic naevi

**Definition:** This phenomenon describes the rapid simultaneous appearance of multiple melanocytic naevi, often hundreds in number, on previously uninvolved sun-exposed skin. The phenomenon has been linked to immunosuppression, particularly in renal transplant recipients and in individuals receiving cancer chemotherapy, and may be considered a more advanced counterpart of generalised eruptive lentiginosis.

**Exclusions:** - Multiple benign melanocytic naevi - Generalized eruptive lentiginosis
