Seborrhoeic keratosis

**Definition:** Seborrhoeic keratoses are very common benign neoplasms of epidermal keratinocytes which increase in prevalence and number with age. They are commonly multiple and are very variable in shape and colour. Because of the sometimes intense pigmentation they are frequently mistaken for melanocytic tumours.
