Scalp psoriasis

**Definition:** The scalp is frequently the site of initial presentation and is the commonest anatomical site to be involved by psoriasis. Morphologies range from discrete plaques to total scalp involvement with either thick plaques or scaly non-thickened areas almost identical to seborrhoeic dermatitis. Sites of predilection include the immediate post-auricular area and occiput.
