Fibroepithelial polyp of skin

**Definition:** A common polypoid, often pedunculated non-neoplastic benign skin growth consisting of a fibrovascular core covered with normal or thinned epidermis. If torsion of the stalk occurs they may become painful, swollen and necrotic.
