Cleft lip, bilateral
**Definition:** A condition caused by failure of the upper lip to correctly develop during the antenatal period. This condition is characterised by two fissures in the upper lip and a collapsed and stretched nose through one side of the upper lip. This condition may present with disruption of sucking or swallowing in neonates.
**Exclusions:** - Cleft lip and alveolus
