Congenital pulmonary regurgitation

**Definition:** Congenital cardiovascular malformation of the pulmonary valve allowing backward flow into the ventricle. Congenital pulmonary valve regurgitation may be due to primary annular dilation, prolapse and leaflet underdevelopment.
