Congenital diverticulosis of small intestine
**Definition:** This refers to a condition characterised by the presence of congenital multiple sack-like mucosal herniations called diverticula through weak points in the wall or lining of the small intestine. Most people with diverticulosis do not have any discomfort or symptoms. However, some people may experience pain or discomfort in the abdomen, bloating, and bleeding.
