Congenital megalourethra

**Definition:** A condition caused by failure of the penile corpora cavernosa and spongiosa to correctly develop during the antenatal period. This condition is characterised by dilatation of the penile urethra. This condition may present with poor stream, swelling of the penis, megacystis, oligohydramnios, renal failure, or pulmonary hypoplasia.
