Atresia or stenosis of ureter

**Definition:** A condition caused by blockage or narrowing of the ureter due to failure to correctly develop during the antenatal period. This condition may present with bladder outlet obstruction, low amniotic fluid volume, pulmonary hypoplasia, megacystis, hydroureter, hydronephrosis, or renal dysplasia.
