Hypospadias, penoscrotal

**Definition:** A condition of the urethra affecting males, caused by determinants arising during the antenatal period. This condition is characterised by a malformation of the urethra and the ventral side of the penis, leading to an abnormally placed urinary meatus that opens where the shaft of the penis meets the scrotum. This condition may also present with an incomplete foreskin that forms a hood.
