Manufacture of paper and paper products

The code 17.1 covers establishments engaged in the manufacturing of paper, paperboard and related products, including the processing of pulp, the production of writing and printing paper, tissue, cardboard and other paper-based items, as well as the finishing operations such as coating, laminating and cutting. It excludes activities related to the recycling of waste paper into raw material for other industries.
