Discrete mathematics

Discrete mathematics comprises the study of countable and distinct mathematical structures, including combinatorics, graph theory, logic, algorithms, and number theory, that underpin many areas of computer science. In the ACM Computing Classification System it is a core subfield of mathematics relevant to theoretical foundations, software development, and computational problem solving.
