Microfinance

FI-MF denotes the Microfinance subsector within the Financial Intermediation sector of the Asian Development Bank's sector and subsector classification. It covers institutions and activities that provide small loans and other financial services to low-income individuals, micro-enterprises and groups to promote financial inclusion and poverty reduction.
