SA-CRE is the Standardised Approach category for Commercial Real-Estate exposures in the Basel III/IV framework (BCBS 189/424). It covers loans and other credit facilities to non-residential property developers, owners and investors, and assigns a prescribed risk-weight based on the asset-type, loan-to-value and borrower-sector risk characteristics.
