Code 3 groups all economic activities involving the extraction, processing, distribution and use of energy substances such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, natural gas, coal, bio-fuels and related lubricating oils. It includes operations from mining and refining to wholesale, retail and end-use consumption for transportation, industrial, commercial and residential purposes.
