Subpart E - Physical Examinations

Subpart E of 49 CFR 391 establishes the physical-examination requirements for commercial driver medical certification. It defines the standards drivers must meet, the procedures for medical examinations, the qualifications of examiners, and the issuance and validity of medical certificates needed for operating commercial motor vehicles.
