Live animals

Code 01 of the EU Combined Nomenclature 2024 includes all live animals, covering mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish presented in a living state at the time of trade, whether intended for food, breeding, research or other uses. The provision applies to any species regardless of origin or purpose of import or export.
