Animal or Vegetable Fats and Oils and Prepared Edible Fats

The CN heading S03 covers animal and vegetable fats and oils, as well as prepared edible fats, including butter, margarine, lard and other processed oil products. It groups raw and refined fats that are used for cooking, food preparation or industrial purposes, and forms a basis for customs duty rates and statistical reporting within the EU.
