S09 groups unprocessed timber and its basic products, such as sawn, planed or split wood, wood chips, bolts, poles and panels, together with wood charcoal used as fuel. It also includes cork and all articles made from cork, ranging from raw sheets to finished goods like stoppers, flooring and insulation products, covering both raw materials and simple manufactured items derived from wood or cork.
