Public utilities

Code 65 in the EU Common Procurement Vocabulary 2008 classifies contracts for public-utility services such as the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity and gas, water supply and sanitation, waste collection and treatment, and other essential infrastructure that is normally provided by public or quasi-public entities.
