Bayern (Bavaria)

DE2 is the NUTS-2 statistical region for the German federal state of Bayern, known in English as Bavaria. It forms part of the Eurostat Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics 2021 hierarchy, representing southern Germany's largest state, including major cities such as Munich, Nuremberg and Augsburg, and is used for regional economic and demographic reporting.
