Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia)

DEA is the NUTS-2 code for Nordrhein-Westfalen, the most populous state in Germany, located in the western part of the country and bordering the Netherlands and Belgium. In Eurostat's 2021 NUTS classification it groups the state's seven administrative districts for regional statistical reporting.
