Bourgogne-Franche-Comte

FRC is the NUTS-2 code for Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, a French region in the east that combines the historic areas of Burgundy and Franche-Comté. It comprises eight departments-Côte-d'Or, Doubs, Jura, Nièvre, Haute-Saône, Saône-et-Loire, Yonne and Territoire de Belfort-and had a population of about 5.9 million in 2021. The region is noted for its wine production, watchmaking heritage and mixed agricultural-industrial economy.
