Manufacture of electric vehicles

OBJ1-MFG3 denotes the manufacture of electric vehicles, classified under the EU Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance (Regulation EU 2020/852) as an activity contributing to climate-change mitigation. It is eligible for sustainable-finance labeling when it complies with the taxonomy's technical screening criteria, including the use of low-carbon energy, high-efficiency production processes and circular-economy principles throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.
