Sea and coastal passenger water transport

OBJ1-TRN8 covers the operation of sea and coastal passenger vessels that provide scheduled or on-demand transport services on maritime and coastal routes. To qualify under the EU Taxonomy, the activity must meet strict thresholds for greenhouse-gas emissions, energy efficiency and marine ecosystem protection, ensuring that the fleet uses low-carbon fuels or technologies and avoids significant adverse impacts on water quality and biodiversity.
