14-Hour On-Duty Window

The 14-hour on-duty window limits a commercial driver to a maximum of 14 consecutive on-duty hours after beginning a shift that follows at least a 10-hour off-duty break. Once the 14-hour limit is reached, the driver must take a required 10-hour off-duty period before returning to duty.
