Article 5 - Principles relating to processing of personal data

Article 5 of the GDPR sets out the core principles that must guide any processing of personal data, requiring it to be lawful, fair and transparent, collected for specific purposes, limited to what is necessary, accurate, kept only as long as needed, and protected with appropriate security while being accountable for compliance.
