Article 55 - Competence

Article 55 of the GDPR specifies which bodies have the authority to oversee data-protection matters, outlining the competence of national supervisory authorities, the European Data Protection Board and the European Commission to adopt binding decisions, issue guidelines and ensure consistent application of the Regulation throughout the EU.
