Article 61 - Mutual assistance

Article 61 of the GDPR sets out the framework for mutual assistance among EU supervisory authorities, allowing them to cooperate in investigations, inspections and the exchange of information concerning cross-border data processing. The article obliges authorities to provide each other with the necessary support and to coordinate actions to ensure consistent enforcement of the regulation across member states.
