Article 64 - Opinion of the Board

Article 64 authorises the European Data Protection Board to issue opinions on any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of the GDPR, including conflicts between supervisory authorities. While the opinions are not legally binding, they serve as authoritative guidance for national authorities, the Commission and the European Parliament, helping ensure a consistent approach to data-protection rules across the EU.
