Scope 2 - Indirect Emissions from Purchased Energy

Scope 2 covers indirect greenhouse-gas emissions that result from the generation of electricity, heat, steam or cooling purchased or acquired by a company. It quantifies the emissions associated with the energy the organization consumes but does not produce directly, enabling firms to account for the impact of their purchased energy use.
