Coffee, Tea, Mate and Spices

Chapter 09 of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule covers coffee, tea, mate and a wide range of spices, including whole, roasted, ground or powdered forms and mixtures thereof. It applies to both processed and unprocessed agricultural products derived from these plants, but excludes items classified elsewhere, such as essential oils or flavorings.
