Lac; Gums, Resins and Other Vegetable Saps

The heading 13 of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule covers natural lac, plant-derived gums, resins and other vegetable saps. These are raw or minimally processed substances obtained from trees, shrubs, insects or other botanical sources and are used in adhesives, coatings, food additives, pharmaceuticals and similar applications.
