Cocoa and Cocoa Preparations

Chapter 18 of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule covers cocoa beans, cacao butter, cocoa powder, and a variety of cocoa-based preparations such as chocolate, cocoa mixes and other processed products derived from cocoa, including both raw and roasted forms. These items are classified under subheadings that distinguish between edible and non-edible uses, as well as the degree of processing and added ingredients.
