Mineral Fuels, Mineral Oils and Products of Distillation

Chapter 27 of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifies mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of distillation, including crude petroleum, natural gas, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, lubricants and bitumen. These items are grouped for customs duty assessment, trade statistics and import-export regulation.
