Wood and Articles of Wood; Wood Charcoal

The HTSUS heading 44 covers unprocessed wood, sawn or planed timber, wood panels and veneers, as well as finished wood products such as furniture, building components and other articles made wholly or partly of wood. It also includes wood charcoal, both in lump form and powder, used for fuel or industrial purposes. All items classified under this code are subject to the duties and regulations applied to wood and wood-based commodities.
