Carpets and Other Textile Floor Coverings

The HTSUS heading 57 covers finished textile floor coverings such as woven, tufted, or needle-punched carpets, carpet tiles, rugs and floor mats made from fibers like wool, cotton, man-made or synthetic yarns. It includes both residential and commercial products but excludes non-textile floorings such as rubber, plastic or wood-based coverings. This chapter is used for customs valuation and trade statistics.
