Cutaneous nocardiosis
**Definition:** Cutaneous nocardiosis may be due to direct infection of the skin where it presents either as a solitary cold abscess or as a lymphangitic process in which infection spreads up lymphatic channels to form a linear array of suppurative nodules. Skin involvement is also present in a third of cases of systemic nocardiosis.
**Exclusions:** - Actinomycetoma due to Nocardia species
