Malignant neoplasms of anus or anal canal
**Definition:** A primary malignant neoplasm that arises in the anal canal up to the junction with perianal, hair-bearing skin. Representative examples include carcinomas and melanomas. Tumours of the anal margin are classified with skin tumours.
