Low grade serous adenocarcinoma of ovary

**Definition:** A slow-growing serous adenocarcinoma that arises from the ovary. It usually originates from borderline neoplastic processes or adenofibromas. It is characterised by the presence of low grade cytologic features and infrequent mitotic figures.
