Benign osteogenic tumours

**Definition:** A neoplasm arising from the bone or articular cartilage that does not invade adjacent tissues or metastasize to other anatomic sites. Representative examples include benign fibrous histiocytoma of bone, osteoma, osteoblastoma, chondroblastoma, and enchondroma.
