Anaemia in chronic kidney disease

**Definition:** A disease caused by chronic kidney disease. This disease is characterised by a low red blood cell count in the blood. This disease may present with pallor, fatigue, or shortness of breath. Confirmation is by identification of a low red blood cell count in a blood sample.
