Pseudocyst of spleen

**Definition:** A disease caused by determinants arising after birth, during the antenatal period or by genetically inherited factors. This disease is characterised by a noncancerous fluid-filled sac, pseudocysts are like cysts, but lack epithelial or endothelial cells. This disease is often asymptomatic but may present with abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Confirmation is through medical imaging.
