Premature adrenarche

**Definition:** Premature development of pubic and/or axillary hair without central or peripheral precocious puberty. Children show premature clinical and/or laboratory signs of androgen action without estrogen action.

**Exclusions:** - Central precocious puberty - Congenital adrenal hyperplasia - Peripheral precocious puberty
