Thrombophlebitis migrans

**Definition:** Thrombophlebitis migrans is characterised by the development of recurrent and migratory superficial thrombophlebitis. It is an acquired coagulopathy that is strongly associated with malignancy, especially solid tumours of the adenocarcinoma type.
