**Definition:** Any condition of the intestines, caused by an infection with a bacterial source.

**Exclusions:** - Helicobacter pylori induced gastritis - Helicobacter pylori associated gastric ulcer - Helicobacter-pylori associated duodenitis - Helicobacter-pylori associated duodenal ulcer - Helicobacter pylori associated and drug-induced gastric ulcer - Helicobacter-pylori associated and drug-induced duodenal ulcer - Bacterial foodborne intoxications
