Tuberculosis

**Definition:** A disease caused by an infection with bacteria of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. This disease presents with symptoms depending on the site of infection. Transmission is commonly by inhalation of infected respiratory secretions.

**Inclusions:** - Infections due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium bovis

**Exclusions:** - Pneumoconiosis associated with tuberculosis
