Vasomotor rhinitis
**Definition:** Vasomotor rhinitis is a form of non-allergic inflammation of the nasal mucosa that is characterised by nasal congestion and posterior pharyngeal drainage. The non-allergic triggers cause dilation of the blood vessels in the lining of the nose, which results in swelling, and drainage.
