Pneumothorax

**Definition:** Pneumothorax is an abnormal collection of air or gas in the pleural space that separates the lung from the chest wall, and that may interfere with normal breathing.

**Exclusions:** - pneumothorax: tuberculous (confirmed) - Traumatic pneumothorax - pneumothorax: tuberculous (not confirmed) - pyopneumothorax
